Ncnmo Mission
“Connecting people to faith”
The Nigerian Muslim Organization in the United States of America (NCNMO) , in order to promote cooperation, unity, charity, and propagation of Islam in our communities in accordance with the principles recommended in the Holy Quran and the tradition of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) do hereby establish the National Council of Nigerian Muslim Organizations, United States of America and this Constitution. In pursuance of this goal, we do hereby, solemnly and voluntarily submit ourselves to the will of Allah (SWT) and abide by the provisions of this Constitution
APC Mission & Purpose
The Advanced Platform Committee (APC) was initiated in 2004 by a group of sincere and dedicated youth who have found a need to provide the community youth with an alternative to help combat current youth problems. The goals of the APC are to establish and provide an Islamic alternative for the youth and to continue working with the broader community for generations to come. This alternative is accomplished by fulfilling and providing services in all areas required by the youth of our community. Through our effort, we hope to help the youth to develop into well educated, confident and upstanding members of the community. At the same time, our goal is to also educate and inform people outside our community about Islam, and removing the disastrous misconceptions that have been spread about Islam in the past. Islam teaches us that there is no compulsion in religion, yet it is our duty to inform people about the beauty and perfection of Islam.

Our Leadership
In order to serve our community members and advance our mission, it requires a Team; our executive team and committees are comprised of a wide array of dedicated volunteers. Although volunteering requires an investment of both energy and time to fulfill expectations, volunteer service is an honor.
“And We appointed leaders from among them, guiding by Our command, as long as they persevered and were certain of Our communications.”
